burns up over
not too close
silhouette of trees
sky burns into
red morning bright
pink cottontail clouds
lavender marries into
new morning blue
if only morning sky
could dictate
affect
what happens on hard ground
battlefield
boardroom
and classroom
serenity could rain
down on our weary souls
instead of a death count
